The Situation: Teacher’s unions have called for a national strike on Thursday, 4 April.
Blockades, demonstrations and protests are planned in many cities, such as, but not limited to, Paris, Lyon, and Toulouse.
Historically, other causes have been known to use national strikes as an opportunity to demonstrate. As a result, these protests may grow quickly in number and could suddenly turn violent.
Possible Effects:
Blocked roads
Protests and demonstrations
Increased traffic
Mitigating Factors to Apply:
Avoid all protests and large crowds, which have the possibility of turning violent
